The Idea

The Idea

All thing in our material world, begin with an idea, the power of thought manifestation is a concept that is ancient. The ability to use this gift with intent requires faith and an understanding of who you are. Fear and doubt has always blocked the ability to manifest reality through thought. The irony of this gift is that we use it all of the time, but in most cases not with intent. What you think about the most with passion and clarity will manifest into your reality if you truly believe it will. That is why you must be careful about what you think. The thinking process always starts with an idea.

In 1926 Robert Collier talked about this idea concept in has famous publication “The Secret of the Ages” when he wrote, “All riches have their origin in Mind. Wealth is in ideas not money. Money is merely the material medium of exchange for ideas. The paper money in your pockets is in itself worth no more than so many pieces of paper. It is the idea behind it that gives it value”.

Most of us have been programed to accept our perceived limitations, we accept things that are stressful both internal and external because we do not believe that we have the power to manifest a change. You most truly believe in your ability to manifest your reality through the power of thought, when you open your mind to accept this fact, the idea will come. When your idea comes, only faith will protect you from the destructive energies of fear and doubt.

Collier explains it this way “Just as the first law of gain is desire, so the formula of success is FAITH. Believe that you have it, see it as existent fact, and anything you can rightly wish for is yours. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Collier wrote about this over 80 years ago, this secret has now been exposed to the masses. Deprograming is not easy, you first most accept the reality that you have been programed.

If you cannot accept your ability to manifest an intended reality in your material world, you have been programmed not to know who you really are.  Many believe the statement “Know Thy Self” found often in ancient Egypt inscribed over the entrance of temples of learning, was a code to allow us to understand how they achieved such incredible wonders. It is important that you are aware that you have the ability to change your reality by changing the way that you think, about yourself and others.  If you are reading this dialog, and you are not happy with your current internal and external environment, you can change it.  We all have this ability, we often misuse it due to a lack of awareness of it and of who we are and the abilities that we possess.

For some thought manifestations is a difficult concept to embrace, yet we all do it unconsciously all of the time. We all have the ability to manifest change in our reality. It is now the time for the masses to understand we all has this ability, I truly believe that this knowledge will be a necessary tool, for navigating the energy of the future; nature has always been selective.  I hope you get the idea.

Meditation the First Step to Wellness

Meditation the First Step to Wellness

As the wellness industry grows, you will find a number of wonderful natural products that can help balance the mind, body and spirit. The growing understanding of how stress and negative emotions can increase the possibility of illness has provided a wonderful opportunity to market wellness products to a growing audience. Many of the wellness products that are on the market can be effective healing tools, and some can also be very costly. Meditation is the oldest and perhaps the first natural healing wellness tool and it is free. Like love many people are familiar with the term meditation, but very widely in the understanding and opinion of what it is.

Meditation is a way to allow the conscious mind to be placed in a state of calmness and awareness. When this happens the subconscious mind is allowed to manage and balance our internal energy and immune system. Learning to breathe is the first step in the practice of meditation. Most people breathe by taking in air and expanding their lungs and chest.

This is not a natural or healthy way to breathe. When you were in your mother’s womb, you learned to breathe by expanding your stomach to take in nourishing energy and contracting your stomach to expel unnecessary fluids.  When learning to meditate only your stomach should expand when inhaling, the stomach should contract when exhaling, slowing pushing the air out through the nose. I recommend inhaling and exhaling through the nose during meditation.

The above breathing technique is known as abdominal breathing. When I was doing my Taoist master training in Korea, many of the old masters just called it baby breathing. If you want to learn how to breathe correctly watch a healthy baby’s stomach when the baby is breathing. Abdominal breathing has a calming effect to the conscious mind which will increase the internal sense of control.

Meditation has both physiological and psychological benefits; it can be used for pain management and for spiritual awareness and growth. Ancient Taoist masters developed a technique (that the Korean Taoist call, Chunsoo), to help individuals experience the relaxing calmness of the meditative state also known as an Alpha state.

If you are considering meditation as a wellness option, you should schedule an appointment at the Harlem Ki Energy Center (646 329-6727) for a Chunsoo treatment. Knowing how it feels to be in an Alpha meditative state will give you an understanding for where you would like to go during your own meditation practice.

I plan to teach my spring City College workshop at the Harlem Ki Center. My upcoming CCNY/CPS workshop will start Saturday March 29th for four sessions ending on Saturday April 26th.  The title of the spring workshop is “Taoism: A Practical Approach to Ancient Wisdom for Health and Longevity”.  Each session will focus on different ways to meditate. The Universal Mind

The Universal Mind

There are many theories of how life on earth began, some scientific and some religious, there are also spiritual theories that are now supported by quantum physics. The fact remains that no one really knows. Taoism is a philosophy that teaches that all things in our universe began with the interface between a negative force called Yin and a positive force called Yang. Quantum physics Scientist now view all things in our universe to be made of the interface of two whirling bits of electricity one negative known as the electron and one positive known as the proton.

We now know that all things in our universe are made up of a negative and positive configuration of vibrating energy. Quantum physics now consider Zero Point Energy to be the source of all energy both material and invisible. Taoism and many other spiritual philosophies consider the Universal Mind to be the source of all things material or invisible. In his book “The Secret of the Ages”, Robert Collier describes the Universal Mind as “the omnipotent, intelligence that evolved every form of plant and animal, an intelligence that is all wise and all powerful”.

Collier goes on to say that humans are an active part of this Universal Mind. Humans have the ability to partake in its creative wisdom and power and by consciously drawing from this vital power, and working in harmony with this Universal Mind one has the power to do anything, be anything and have anything. I often write about thought manifestation.

Collier writes that if you form a mental image of the thing you desire and you hold it strongly in your thought, with the necessary faith that you are receiving the thing asked for; your superconscious mind will connect to the Universal Mind to bring this image into reality. Many believe that all humans have three minds, a conscience mind, an inner mind or subconscious mind and a superconscious mind.

The conscious mind, most overcome the programed obstacles created by fear and doubt, to connect and activate the subconscious mind to provide the superconscious mind with the desired image to take to the Universal Mind (known by many names) which has the ability to manifest your mental image into a reality.

We all have a life force inside of us that is part of the life force that created all things. This gift has been kept secret from the masses; our conscious minds have been programed to accept limitations. We are where we are because we believe that it is where we must be.

Our thoughts are creative energy; look around, all that you see began with a mental image of a conscious thought, that thought was programed into the subconscious, the subconscious programed the image into the superconscious which is connected to Universal Mind, the foundation of all creation. It is important that you understand this ability, those who understand and accept this gift are always careful about what they think.

Those who learn to use this ability can bring balance to their internal mind, body and spirit energy and their external environment, by working in harmony with the Universal Mind. The Gift of Three Minds

The Gift of Three Minds

We were created with the gift of three minds the conscious mind, the subconscious mind, and the superconscious mind. The gift of three minds, allows humans to transform illusionary thoughts into material form. Everything in our three dimensional world was first a thought.  Your thoughts can bring balance and harmony to your internal and external environment.  Thoughts can also bring disharmony and imbalances into our lives.  Those who learn to understand and practice using this wonderful gift will have an advantage in navigating the next stage of human evolution that is now underway.

Your conscious mind is who you believe you are. It is the force that governs the five senses, it discriminates between good and bad, and it controls most of our voluntary muscles. The conscious mind feels and reasons and is in charge of all of our mental abilities. Many people only identify with the conscious mind which in most cases has been programed into thinking a certain way. The conscious mind is also the first step towards thought manifestation it opens the door to the subconscious.

Your subconscious mind controls the workings of the body; man has yet to build a computer that can calculate as fast as the subconscious. The circulation of our internal vital energy is controlled by your subconscious. All of the involuntary functions of the body is controlled by the subconscious mind. It controls all cell life, nutrition, excretions  and waste. The subconscious does not reason it follows the reasoning of the conscious mind. Everything you have ever experienced in life is recorded by the subconscious mind. It is also the link to the superconscious mind.

Your superconscious mind  is your connection to the mind of the universe. The universal mind is the source of all intelligence that brings balance to our universe. It has always been the foundation for the manifestation of material form.  We all are part of it and it is part of us and your superconscious is the link to its creative powers. The role of the superconscious mind has been keep secret for centuries. A focused thought placed in our conscious mind absent of fear and doubt will developed an impression on the subconscious mind. A conscious vision of that thought will allow the subconscious mind to transfer that thought to the superconscious mind our link to the universal mind of creation and manifestation.  This process has been used for every creation in your life positive or negative. We all have been programed to allow fear and doubt to prevent our ability to use the coordinated power of our three minds to improve the quality of life for ourselves and for others.  It is important to respect the power of thought.

I will discuss this concept in more detail during  my four week workshop March 29th to April 26th  part  of City College’s continuing and professional Studies semester. The title for the work shop is “ Taoism: A Practical Approach to Ancient Wisdom for Health and Longevity”.
