What You Should Know About Therapeutic CBD Oils

Cannabidiol, or CBD is a compound found in cannabis plants and has been used medicinally for centuries. Some of the first records of the medical use of CBD can be traced back more than 4000 year to ancient Egypt (known then as Kemet). Evidence of this and therapeutic reflexology treatments were found in illustrations on the walls of the Physician’s Tomb at Saqqara.

CBD is derived from hemp cannabis plant that is sometimes confused with its cousin the marijuana plant. Marijuana is a cannabis plant that contains THC, which is known for creating a psychoactive response to the mind (also known as a high). Hemp has grown in the US for many years and can be used for to make clothing, paper, skin and health care products.

The many manufacturing uses of hemp was a major reason all cannabis plants were criminalized by laws influenced by wealth clothing and paper manufacturers. Many were not aware of the therapeutic benefits of CBD oils until states started to legalize medical marijuana, but the therapeutic use of CBD oils did not become popular until states began to legalize the recreational use of marijuana, which made CBD oils become hot business products.

States like New York who had legal marijuana laws still prevented the sale or marketing of CBD oils until last year December 20th 2018 when the Agriculture Improvement Act was passed legalizing the use of CBD oils in all 50 states. Now anyone can benefit from the therapeutic qualities of CBD oils.
The cannabinoids found in CBD oils can bind to specific neurotransmitters in the body involved in regulating pain and immune system response. Studies have shown that CBD oils may help to reduce pain and inflammation. Studies also indicate that CBD oils can help balance mood and lower anxiety by having a positive impact on the brain’s receptors and neurotransmitters that regulate mood.

Soon you will see a lot more advertising about CBD oils, but be careful since all CBD oils are not organic and/or have quality cannabinoid formulas. I decided to go with Wakaya Perfection’s CB Gold Oils which are is made from organically produced hemp.

Winter the Water Season
The season of winter will begin Friday December 21st Taoist wellness strategies consider winter to be the season of the element of water. There are five elements Fire, Water, Wood, Metal and Earth.  Ancient Taoist sages, created wellness strategies for each of the five elements; using their uncanny understanding of the relationship between the human body and the cosmos.

During the winter water season, the two vital organs that attention should be given to are the Kidneys (yin organ) and the bladder (yang organ). The positive emotion of winter is Gentleness; the negative emotion of winter is Fear. People will tend to urinate more during the water season and Mercury is the planet that influences the solar energy of earth during winter.

The Kidneys are the Yin water organs; they filter all the fluids, removing excess water and toxins. Kidneys can only move about six cups of liquid per day, including what is already in the body as well as what you drink. If the kidneys get overloaded with toxins due to drinking too much during the holiday season, it can cause an energy imbalance in the body that can weaken the Immune System.

The Bladder is the yang water organ that receives and eliminates urine (which is not waste it is filtered blood). The bladder channel has a relationship with most body functions. It runs close to the spine and can influence the Sympathetic Nervous System (ANS). The ANS influences many body functions including heart rate, digestion, perspiration, respiratory rate, and sexual arousal.

Ki Energy treatments, as well as many other forms of Taoist energy balancing techniques such as Tai Chi, Acupuncture, and Chi Nei Tsang, have been used for centuries to bring balance to every vital organ including the Bladder and Kidneys. Scientific research in Quantum Physics has identified energy fields that surround all material forms in the universe these fields are called “Subtle Organizing Energy Fields” (SOEFs).

When the mind, body and spirit energy of the human body is in balance, the SOEFs that surround each vital organ are energized providing all the necessary energy that the vital organ needs to be healthy, the scientific definition of this state of being is negative entropy. Stress caused by negative emotions can cause an imbalance in the body separating the mind and spirit from the body the scientific definition for this state of being is positive entropy.

Fear and anxiety are the negative emotions of winter, and the negative energies of fear and anxiety will weaken the SOEFs that surround the Kidneys. Ki Energy treatments are very effective in bringing balance to the body by reviving negative entropy energy.
Ki Energy Treatments during the winter months is a helpful way to reduce stress and negative emotions and remove toxins from the Kidneys and Bladder. If you would like additional information on this subject send an email to onuwon@gmail.com or call 646 329-6727

Autumn the Season of Metal

By: William A Rogers

When you enter the meditation and training room at the Harlem Ki Energy Center, you will see a circular symbol which represents the five elements Fire, Water, Wood, Earth and Metal.  This symbol is called the Symbol of Truth by many Taoist because the five elements are considered to be the true foundations of life. Autumn is the season of the element of metal. Each of the five elements has a relationship with the universes and the human body.

The Yin/Yang organs that correspond to the element of Metal are the Lungs (Yin) and the Large Intestine (Yang). It is very important to develop a detoxification strategy in autumn, to prepare for the coming winter. More people die from colon cancer and lung cancer than any other cancer related disease. Special attention should always be given to the care of the lungs and large intestine in the autumn.

The large intestine is the last part of the digestive system in humans and all vertebrate animals. Its function is to absorb water from the remaining indigestible food matter and then pass useless waste material from the body. The large intestine consists of the cecum, colon, rectum and anal canal.

The lungs mix blood with oxygen, and expel used air, carbon dioxide, and other toxins. The lungs control skin and sweat. The following are recommended ways to detoxify the large intestine and the lungs.

Ki Energy treatments always start with detoxifying pressure to vital organs located in the abdominal area and the four lung detox points; a very good reason to have Ki treatments especially in the autumn. If you are not able to schedule an appointment for a Ki Energy treatment at our Harlem wellness center, Taoist master Mantak Chia gives instructions on how to do it yourself in his book Chi Nei Tsang: Internal Organs Chi Massage.

Pure organic Korean Panax ginseng , which is considered the best ginseng in the world has been used as a natural detoxing herb for centuries. This pure form of ginseng was introduced to America only few years ago and can be ordered at the Harlem Ki center, send an email to onuwon@gmail.com for additional information.

If you would like to learn more about detox strategies call the Harlem Taoist Ki Energy Center 646 329-6727 and schedule an appointment or visit my blog at www.theartofwarogers.info   I will also show you special breathing exercises to address the lungs during this autumn season of metal, during my fall meditation, sound vibration and movement Ki training class on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

If you are interested in attending the Wednesday class call 646 329 6727 to get additional information. Friday September 22nd is the first day of autumn, a perfect time to start KI training and treatments to prepare the body for the cold winter months.

Synchronicity

Synchronicity

In 1949 Swiss psychologist Carl Jung wrote the foreword for one of the first Western translations of the I Ching. Richard Wilhelm’s translation of this Chinese classic got the attention of the science community because one of the world’s best-known psychologists provided credibility to the 2000-year-old book. A book that many considered too abstruse to be intelligible, or of no value at all. In his foreword Jung introduced the term Synchronicity, which he described as a concept that takes the coincidence of events in space and time as meaning something more than mere chance.

Jung considered synchronicity to be a term that could be used to explain the alignment of universal forces with the life experiences of an individual. Jung believed that many experiences we perceive as coincidences are not coincidence at all, but rather the alignment of these forces creating the situation we find ourselves facing. The I Ching was the foundation of not only Jung’s theory of synchronicity - it also served as the foundation for German philosopher G.F. Hegel’s dialectical theory of history which became the foundation for Karl Marx’s theory of dialectical materialism. The theories of Hegel and Marx made a tremendous impact on the philosophical direction of Western civilization.

I am amazed that a book that is over 2000 years old could serve as the foundation for information technology (Gottfried Von Leibniz’s theory of binary mathematics 1675) and the discovery of the genetic code by James Watson and Francis Crick in 1953. In 1675 Leibniz a Germen mathematician and philosopher was introduced to the I Ching and used his study of the text to confirm his system of binary mathematics, which became the bases of computer science.

In 1953 Dr. James Watson and Dr. Francis Crick announced to the World their discovery of the genetic code, consisting of sixty-four binary triplet figures called DNA codons, which correspond directly to the sixty-four binary triplet hexagrams used to consult the I Ching. We are still learning how to use the genetic code and the future development of information technology will change the world.

In the last paragraph of his famous introduction Jung writes “As to the thousands of questions, doubts, and criticisms that this singular book stirs up, I cannot answer these. The I Ching does not offer itself with proofs and results; it does not vaunt itself, nor is it easy to approach. Like a part of nature, it waits until it is discovered. It offers neither facts nor power, but for lovers of self-knowledge, of wisdom - if there be such - it seems to be the right book.”

All things happen for a reason and there is no such thing as a coincidence if you are reading this dialog and you are interested in learning how to used the I Ching to improve the quality of your life, perhaps you should call 646 329-6727 and schedule an appointment at the Ki Energy Center or send an email to onuwon@gmail.com for further information. Many believe that what we call a coincidence is a message from the mind of the universe. Jung used the term Synchronicity to describe this phenomenon.

How Far Can You See

How Far Can You See?

In a previous article I wrote about how important it is to be aware of and to learn how to use our all-seeing third eye, also known as the pineal gland. The third eye is in the front of the brain behind our forehead in between the two eyes we are aware of.  Many are not aware of the third eye, but many may not truly understand how far we can really see with the two eyes we are aware of.

One of my favorite Taoist authors Wu Wei answers the question of How Far Can You See in his book “The I Ching Handbook” by saying “Everything we see is inside our heads inside of each eye are close to hundred million rods and cones. These rods and cones are stimulated by the rays of light that enter your eye which, in turn, create impulses that travel along the optic nerve system to the brain.”

The brain receives those impulses and forms a picture. That picture is inside your head and formed by your brain, within your brain. Master Wei also writes that “We never actually see an object, the only thing we see are light rays being radiated by or reflected from objects.” The view we have of the world is simply a picture that appears to be outside, but actually it is all inside your head.

When I started thinking about this the Magic Eye 3D computer-generated illusions came to mind. If you look at the Magic Eye illusion for a while, a 3D image seems to “magically” appear, this will happen for some quicker then others.  I use a Magic Eye book at our center and in workshops as a tool to explain the concept of enlightenment. According to Wu Wei “Changing the way you see things is much easier then changing the things you see.”

We often react to the pictures we see in our heads based on social programming and past experiences. That’s why some will see a glass as half full others, while others will see the same glass as being half empty. This is another reason why I believe it is important to activate and learn to use the wisdom of our third eye; because we really can’t see that far with just our two eyes. It’s all in your head.

The Awakening of the Third Eye

The Awakening of the Third Eye
Taoist masters of old considered the third eye, ones guide through the invisible world. Human vision is limited and three dimensional; the third eye provides intuitive insight and vision into the fourth dimension which is the pathway to spiritual enlightenment. The material world can be very stressful and illusory; the awakening of the third eye is the first step in seeing past the matrix.

The mind must be in an Alpha state for the third eye to be awakened. Meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi, Ki Training and Treatments are avenues one can take to reach an Alpha mental state, where the brainwave frequency is 9 to 14 cycles per seconds. Ki Energy Treatments will allow an individual to experience a high Alpha brainwave frequency between 12 to 14 cycles per seconds.  A fifteen minute Ki Treatment is the equivalent to a thirty minute meditation session.

After a Ki Treatment you will feel in the present, relaxed, and balanced, you will be in Alpha. Many who try Meditation and other energy exercises become discouraged and stop before they learn to use the exercise to reach the Alpha state. Ki Treatments provide the opportunity to experience oneness, a step towards opening the third eye and being in tune with the mind of the universe.

The Mind, Body and Spirit must be in balance to understand the intuitive visual insights of the Third Eye. Life does not always have to be stressful; something that living in the Matrix will never allow you to understand.  The Third Eye will allow you to see past the Matrix of the material world. Energy training and treatments will put you on that path.

During my Wednesday Ki training class, we practice an energy movement exercise called Haven and Earth the first movement in this two-part exercise is a training method to help activate the third eye. In ancient Kemet (Egypt) learning to understand and use the power of the third eye was the first step for initiates to master before being allowed to study the wisdom of the ancient mysteries.

Religious persecution made the practice of this ancient wisdom a crime against God, secret societies were developed because of this. The founding fathers of this country were all members of secret societies that understood and used the wisdom of ancient Kemet. This is the reason why the all-seeing third eye at the top of a pyramid can be found on a U S dollar bill; knowledge and wisdom is power.

It is important to understand we have three eyes and the most important eye only a few are aware of. The third eye also known as the Pineal Gland located in the middle of the brain between the two eyes that we are aware of. Learning to activate understand and use the third eye is the most powerful knowledge we can have. It allows us to tap into our intuitive wisdom; the highest level of intelligence of the past, present and future.

To open the third eye, you must first be aware of it. Meditation, Ki treatments and training are an excellent way to start.

Sacred Geometry
The Great Pyramid of Giza was built using sacred geometry, which is defined as how the spirit integrates with matter through geometric form, structure and design. The geometric marvels of the Great Pyramid, the oldest standing structure in the world, have never been replicated, even with today’s advanced technology. It is the only structure in existence aligned true north with only 3/60th of a degree of error.
When you take in the fact that the Great Pyramid lies in the gravitational center of the continents; the exact center of all the land area of the world, one can only wonder about the intelligence of the builders. The sacred cubit is an ancient measurement found carved in stone just above the entrance to the King’s Chamber inside the Great Pyramid.

In 1991 the late inventor Slim Spurling (In the Mind of a Master) developed a copper ring using the sacred cubit measurement equaling 20.6 inches.  Spurling discovered that the rings using this cubit length have a natural resonant frequency of 144 MHz, which is a harmonic of light speed. It is also a measurement of a wavelength in the standing gravity wave of the planet.

Further study and experimentation lead to the discovery of the Lost Cubit measurement. The Lost Cubit has a natural resonant frequency of 177MHz which corresponds to the frequency of DNA, thereby facilitating DNA repair and the capability of consciously controlled DNA activation and ascension.
Thanks to the research done by Slim Spurling, there are now energy tools on the market that make use of ancient Egyptian sacred geometry to create a healing energy that modern quantum physic pioneers such as Nikola Tesla (1899) and Albert Einstein (1920) called Scalar Energy or Zero-Point Energy.

Scalar energy strengthens chemical bonds within DNA, making it more resistant to damage. Scalar energy improves the function of the Immune System; it improves mental focus and can cancel out the harmful effects of 60 cycle power line pollution, electromagnetic fields, radiation and microwaves.

If you visit my blog www.theartofwarogers.info I have a number of articles on the amazing period in early Egypt where science and technology was more advanced than what we have today. The Great Pyramid of Giza still stands, built with science and technology that the modern world is just discovering.

You cannot truly understand the amazing intelligence of the culture that built the Great Pyramid unless you take the time to google the many features of this magnificent structure, built with sacred geometric technology. As many of you know, I have been greatly influenced by the work of Wayne B. Chandler (Ancient Future) who provides scholarly research that points out the many contributions the early Egyptian culture have made in the development of mankind.

What is also amazing to me is that in 2018 I am writing about energy wellness tools constructed by using sacred geometric forms, a technology that was developed in Africa (Egypt) around 3000 BC; energy tools that can be used to address harmful exposure to AM/FM radio waves, VHF/UHF Televisions waves, Radar, Microwave ovens and radio-frequency energy exposure emitted from cell phones. A true example of, Ancient Future.
